In mid-2016, Frank and Zoe purchased the business My Chef Cuisine with a dream of being Australia's best-ever maker of ready meals – and of doing business differently from the crowd - the business of doing good!
Frank and Zoe could see two (2) main problems:
1.Fast growing ageing population -> currently largely being fed mass produced ‘fake potato’ style meals
2.Increasing trend for both parents to work -> creating time poor families and professionals
THE SOLUTION?
to cook using the same ingredients and techniques a good cook would use at home, so everything looks and tastes homemade.
And this created the "My Chef DNA"
DELICIOUS: Using homestyle cooking techniques eg. cooking stocks from scratch with no added preservatives, artificial flavours etc
NUTRITIOUS: Buying well – sourcing good quality ingredients, locally where we can
AFFORDABLE: Buying in large quantities – by the pallet! And transfer the savings to the end customer.
